Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives across the organization. The role sits within the Vensure Innovation team and focuses on driving collaboration between business and technology groups to deliver high‑impact results in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through completion, defining objectives, scope, timelines and deliverables.
• Partner with sponsors, business leaders and stakeholders to set goals and success criteria.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide and coach teams on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and deliverables using Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Coordinate project meetings, workshops and status reviews.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID).
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments and escalation support to senior leadership.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools and automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate across departments to drive consensus and support organizational change initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional corporate experience, including 3+ years leading cross‑functional projects.
• Proven experience managing projects in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
• Strong understanding of project planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation and change management.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
