Shopper Manager – Chrome (Nairobi)

About the role

The Shopper Manager – Chrome will develop and execute shopper marketing programmes that boost brand visibility and commercial performance for the Chrome portfolio in Kenya. This role works closely with agency partners, key customers and internal brand teams to deliver scalable in‑store and on‑premise activations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement in‑store and on‑premise programmes for the designated category and brand, from brief to toolkit and post‑implementation measurement.
• Create category‑wide shopper marketing programmes that can be rolled out across multiple channels and markets.
• Ensure programmes are commercially viable, drive category growth and exceed brand performance targets.
• Manage the in‑outlet programme creation budget and contribute to KBL’s P&L and growth objectives.
• Collaborate with BTL and shopper marketing agencies and work with major customers (>£100K NSV) to deliver differentiated solutions.
• Travel approximately 30% across KBL divisions to support programme execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in shopper or trade marketing within a commercial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including people leadership or leading through influence.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
