About the role
Dsassy Couture is seeking a skilled Tailor to join its Nairobi studio on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will craft, alter, and finish custom garments that meet the brand’s high standards for fit, quality, and design.
Key responsibilities
- Take precise client measurements and conduct fittings.
- Cut fabrics according to patterns and design specifications.
- Sew and assemble garments, ensuring high‑quality stitching and finishing.
- Collaborate with designers to adjust styles and advise clients on fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and meet delivery deadlines.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a tailor or dressmaker in a fashion house, boutique, or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders.
- Excellent communication skills for direct client interaction.
- Vocational training or certification in tailoring, fashion design, or garment technology is a plus.
