Technical Sales Executive – Maternity, Newborn Unit, NICU & PICU

About the role

The Technical Sales Executive will drive revenue growth and clinical adoption of specialised maternal, neonatal and paediatric care solutions across Nairobi’s hospitals and health centres. You will act as the bridge between our engineering portfolio and key clinical stakeholders, ensuring that equipment such as incubators, radiant warmers, phototherapy units and neonatal ventilators meets the needs of patients and clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue, margin and unit targets for the maternity, newborn, NICU and PICU product portfolio.
• Develop account strategies for major maternity hospitals, Level 4/5 facilities and private specialised centres.
• Engage neonatologists, paediatricians, midwives and biomedical teams to understand clinical protocols and propose fit‑for‑purpose equipment solutions.
• Organise and deliver product demonstrations, clinical evaluations and training sessions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals addressing clinical outcomes, total cost of ownership and implementation timelines.
• Lead or support tender processes for public‑sector and development‑partner funded projects.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and post‑installation support with biomedical and applications teams.
• Monitor policy developments, funding programmes and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales of medical equipment, preferably in maternal and neonatal care.
• Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and tender management.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clinical influencers and hospital leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on clinical outcomes.
