Tenders & Bidding Manager – Solar & Lift Projects

About the role

The Tenders & Bidding Manager will lead all tendering and bidding activities for solar and lift installation projects at Delta Engineering & Consultants Ltd, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions. This role bridges technical, commercial and finance teams to secure new business and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end tendering process from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Analyse tender documents for technical and commercial compliance.
• Develop and implement structured bid preparation timelines.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to produce accurate and compelling bid proposals.
• Maintain a database of bid submissions, outcomes and lessons learned.
• Identify and track new business opportunities in the solar and lift sectors.
• Conduct market research on competitors, pricing trends and industry standards.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to create competitive pricing strategies.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise bid pricing.
• Ensure all submissions comply with regulatory, contractual and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) experience in tendering or bidding.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Experience in solar or lift installation projects is preferred.
• Ability to develop pricing strategies and negotiate with suppliers.
