Tiling Installation Supervisor

About the role

MICASSO, a leading tile and surface solutions brand under Twyford International Kenya Ltd., is seeking an experienced Tiling Installation Supervisor. The role is highly practical and field‑based, requiring frequent travel to construction and residential sites across Kenya to ensure MICASSO products are installed to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit MICASSO‑supplied projects and residential sites to provide hands‑on technical guidance.
• Ensure correct substrate preparation, layout, adhesive/mortar application, levelling, joint spacing, grouting and finishing.
• Monitor installation quality, diagnose defects such as hollow tiles, cracking, detachment, uneven surfaces, colour variation, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support contractors and installation teams in implementing rework and corrective measures.
• Train local tilers and installers on proper installation techniques and develop practical guidelines, checklists and training materials.
• Handle customer complaints with professional technical explanations and solutions.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, site managers, foremen and other stakeholders.
• Conduct quality inspections, keep detailed site records, photographs and reports, and provide regular feedback to management.
• Participate in product demonstrations, installer training sessions and technical events as required.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in tile installation and supervision.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical installation challenges and devise practical solutions.
• Excellent site coordination and communication skills with contractors, foremen and customers.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Kenya to multiple project sites.
• Ability to train and mentor installers and develop clear technical documentation.
