Volunteer Faculty – Monitoring & Evaluation

About the role

Africa Nazarere University seeks a dedicated volunteer faculty member to support its Monitoring and Evaluation program. The role involves designing curriculum, delivering lectures, and guiding students in both classroom and field settings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement high‑quality curriculum and course outlines.
• Prepare and deliver contact‑learning and online teaching materials.
• Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, and laboratory sessions.
• Create learning assessment plans and supervise undergraduate, graduate, and internship projects.
• Conduct research, publish findings, and contribute to grant writing and collaborations.
• Advise students on academic and career matters as needed.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, industrial linkages, and departmental administration.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
