Youth Engagement Migration Consultant – 17‑Month Remote Consultancy

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a consultant to lead youth engagement initiatives within the PROSPECTS 4 Youth project, focusing on education and employment opportunities for displaced young people. This 17‑month remote consultancy will support the inter‑agency effort jointly implemented by UNICEF, ILO and UNHCR.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the Inter‑Agency PROSPECTS4Youth Technical Facility (P4YTF) and Intergenerational Network (P4YIGN).
• Coordinate with youth focal points at ILO and UNHCR to deliver integrated technical support to PROSPECTS countries.
• Facilitate connections, dialogue and peer‑to‑peer learning across the three work streams: Link, Learn and Localise.
• Generate, share and apply knowledge to strengthen youth rights, access to services and socio‑economic opportunities.
• Provide technical expertise and capacity‑building to key stakeholders for effective youth participation and leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in youth engagement, migration and humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with education and employment programmes for forced‑displacement settings.
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate across multiple UN agencies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
