Youth Engagement Migration Consultant – 18‑month Remote Consultancy

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to lead youth engagement activities within the PROSPECTS 4 Youth initiative. This 18‑month remote consultancy supports forced‑displacement contexts by improving access to education and employment for young people.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of the PROSPECTS Opportunity Fund Project “PROSPECTS 4 Youth”.
• Collaborate with youth focal points at ILO and UNHCR to establish and manage the Inter‑Agency PROSPECTS4Youth Technical Facility (P4YTF) and Intergenerational Network (P4YIGN).
• Facilitate connections, dialogue, and peer‑to‑peer learning across PROSPECTS countries.
• Generate, share, and apply knowledge to strengthen technical capacities of stakeholders.
• Deliver project outputs and outcomes as defined in the approved proposal.

Required profile

• Experience working in humanitarian or development settings, particularly on youth, migration, education, or employment programmes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑agency initiatives and lead technical facilities.
• Strong understanding of forced‑displacement contexts and youth rights.
• Ability to work remotely under the supervision of the UNICEF Program Specialist, Adolescents and Youth – Migration.
