2026 Technology Internship Program

About the role

Aimsoft Limited offers a six‑month 2026 Technology Internship in Nairobi. Interns will work on live technology projects, collaborate with industry professionals, and gain practical experience across software development, quality assurance, service desk, and business analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in development and testing of software applications.
• Assist in designing and executing test cases.
• Support service‑desk activities and IT support tasks.
• Contribute to requirements gathering and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• Strong passion for technology and continuous learning.
• Positive, proactive attitude with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of software documentation and testing fundamentals.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Laravel, Django, React or Angular.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and testing methodologies.
• Experience with database systems: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL.
• Exposure to cloud computing, especially AWS or serverless architectures.
• Understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle and severity classification.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., GitLab Issues) and automated testing tools.
• Foundations in requirements gathering, process modeling and basic Agile project management.
• Awareness of IT Service Management principles (ITIL is a plus).
