Accountant – Financial Management & Reporting

About the role

The Emining Technical Training Institute is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage its financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing statements, and supporting management with financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
• Develop budgets, management reports, and monitor cash flows.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Assist in internal and external audit preparations.
• Provide financial advice to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent.
• Member in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
• Minimum three years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, taxation and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
