Accountant – Hindi/Gujarati Speaking

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant who is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati to join our finance team in Nairobi. The role supports daily accounting operations and works closely with the Head of Finance, ensuring accurate financial records for our pharmaceutical client.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments, receipts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support invoicing, credit control and manage supplier accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, including stock‑related entries.
• Contribute to budgeting, financial analysis and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and warehouse teams on financial matters.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili and English (read, write and speak).
• CPA qualification or ongoing certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Proficiency with accounting software and systems.
