Accountant (Logistics) – Nairobi

About the role

A client of Corporate Staffing is hiring a highly motivated, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for a full-time, on-site position in Nairobi. The role covers maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and supporting the organisation's financial management. The advertised salary is KSH 60-80K.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Support management with financial analysis and informed decision-making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• CPA(K) qualification or an equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum of two years' relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, with integrity and attention to detail.
