Accountant - Receivables & Payables

About the role

The Partnership Agency is hiring a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant to manage both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate has solid experience in a manufacturing or production environment and can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, credit notes and supplier invoices.
• Monitor receivables for timely collection and follow up on overdue balances.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and resolve variances; prepare aging schedules and support credit control.
• Manage payment cycles, supplier communication and invoice approvals.
• Support month-end closing, including journals, reconciliations and accruals.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Work with procurement, logistics and production teams to match and post financial data correctly.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA (K) qualification.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• SAP experience is an added advantage; inventory accounting experience is a bonus.
