Accounts Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

Artcaffe is seeking a qualified and detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to join its dynamic Finance team. The role is ideal for individuals who love numbers and want to support efficient financial operations in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Capture verified financial transactions, post journal entries and keep ledgers updated.
• Ensure tax compliance by applying withholding tax, VAT, WHVAT and rent withholding accurately.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of vendor statements against the company’s payable ledger.
• Maintain documentation management following the established filing system.
• Provide audit readiness by supplying documentation, schedules and explanations during internal and external audits.
• Offer general administrative support to the finance department.
• Deliver assigned key performance indicators on time.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Completed CPA Part 3.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
