Accounts Receivable Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue and collections function for a global software development leader. This fully remote position will oversee the end‑to‑end AR process, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain healthy cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce AR policies and procedures to streamline invoicing and collections.
• Monitor aging reports, proactively address overdue accounts, and minimize revenue loss.
• Coordinate with sales, client success, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting or accounts receivable management.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.
