Remote Accounting Manager / Controller (Finance)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accounting Manager / Controller to lead the accounting function of a fast‑growing multi‑entity organization with $60M annual revenue. The role is fully remote and reports directly to executive leadership, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets and accruals.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and prepare financial statements and executive reporting packages.
• Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls and develop accounting policies.
• Consolidate financial results across multiple entities, reconcile intercompany transactions and allocate costs.
• Monitor cash flow, support cash forecasting, manage banking relationships and debt schedules.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, rolling forecasts and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax activities and drive process‑improvement, automation and ERP optimization initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years as a Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager.
• Experience managing accounting for companies with $25M–$150M revenue.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi‑entity consolidations.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment and collaborate with executives, auditors and lenders.
