Adjunct Instructor – Electronics & Automation Engineering Technology

About the role

The College of Engineering Technology seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach associate and bachelor level courses in electronics and automation. Classes are delivered in person on Ferris State University campuses and focus on core topics such as circuit analysis, industrial electronics, and programmable logic controllers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lecture material for AAS and BS courses.
• Prepare laboratory exercises and supervise student projects.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and grading.
• Maintain course records and adhere to accreditation standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field for associate‑level courses.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent graduate credit) for baccalaureate‑level courses.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Residency in Michigan by the first day of employment.
