AI Agent Operations Attachee

About the role

Code Particles runs a control room for AI agents, with humans in the loop who keep them honest. As an AI Agent Operations Attachee, you will supervise fleets of production AI agents handling customer support, payment operations and business workflows, reviewing escalations, auditing conversations and decisions, tuning the knowledge agents rely on and deciding when a machine should hand over to a person. This is an industrial attachment for academic credit.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production AI agents and triage the cases they escalate to humans
• Audit agent conversations and decisions for accuracy, tone and policy compliance
• Maintain and improve the knowledge bases and context that agents depend on
• Design escalation paths and handover rules between agents and human operators
• Track fleet metrics such as resolution rate, deflection, hallucination incidents and customer satisfaction
• Write runbooks for agent failure modes and take part in incident response
• Turn recurring agent failures into structured improvement reports for engineering
• Handle complex customer cases end-to-end when an agent cannot

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Business IT or a related field, requiring an industrial attachment for academic credit
• Institution must provide an attachment letter and an evaluation framework (logbook, supervisor assessment or equivalent)
• Excellent written communication, sound judgment and strong attention to detail
• Access to a reliable laptop and stable internet connection

Nice to have

• Experience with ticketing or support systems (Linear, Freshdesk, Jira)
• Heavy personal use of AI assistants and a feel for where they fail
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and reading logs
• Customer-facing experience and interest in human-AI interaction and trust design
