AI Tutor - Humanities

About the role

We are seeking a skilled AI Humanities Specialist to enhance SpaceXAI’s models by providing high-quality data annotations and inputs tailored to humanities contexts. You will leverage expertise in fields such as linguistics, history, literature, philosophy, and the arts to support the training of Grok.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate model outputs for factual accuracy, logical coherence, and hidden assumptions.
• Create exemplary responses and datasets that demonstrate intellectual honesty, source evaluation, and clear distinction between primary evidence, secondary interpretation, and speculation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design evaluation tasks, rubrics, and examples that improve Grok’s behavior in the humanities.
• Define good model behavior for contested humanistic questions, ensuring precision, sourcing, appropriate confidence, and resistance to biased readings.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge in at least one listed humanities discipline.
• Ability to assess arguments for validity, soundness, and hidden premises.
• Habitual reliance on primary sources and skill in weighing them against secondary literature.
• Excellent analytical writing in English, clear and precisely calibrated to evidence strength.
