Animal Feeds Sales Associate

About the role

Agricum Limited is seeking an experienced Animal Feeds Sales Associate to promote and sell its range of animal‑feed products to farmers, dairy producers and agro‑dealers in Nanyuki and surrounding areas. The role combines market development, customer relationship management and achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Market and sell Agricum’s animal‑feed products to farmers, dairy farms, livestock producers and agro‑dealers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new market opportunities and generate sales leads.
• Conduct regular farm visits to understand customer needs and demonstrate product benefits.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries and process orders.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and customer feedback.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years selling animal feeds.
• Proven ability to develop customers and meet sales targets.
• Good understanding of livestock, dairy and animal‑feed markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly to farms and customer sites.
• Based in Nanyuki or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dairy farming and livestock nutrition.
• Familiarity with animal‑feed formulation and agro‑dealer networks.
