Apartment Sales Manager

About the role

Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is seeking an Apartment Sales Manager to own the commercial growth of its premium serviced apartment inventory, driving occupancy, revenue and long‑stay contracts across Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and aggressively pursue new apartment business across Nairobi’s corporate, diplomatic, expatriate, NGO and institutional segments.
• Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline of long‑stay accommodation opportunities and convert prospects into bookings, contracts and recurring revenue.
• Negotiate commercially sound agreements within approved parameters and drive occupancy, average rate and revenue against targets.
• Maintain rigorous visibility of the sales pipeline, forecasting production and revenue.
• Develop strategic partnerships with relocation companies, property consultants, travel management firms and diplomatic missions.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, Finance and Front Office to maximise commercial performance.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in serviced apartments, extended‑stay accommodation, corporate residences or comparable long‑stay products.
• Strong knowledge of the Nairobi apartment and accommodation market and an established network of corporate, diplomatic, expatriate, NGO or relocation contacts.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire new business, prospect aggressively and close high‑value, long‑term accommodation agreements.
• Excellent relationship management, influencing and pipeline‑management skills.
• Resilience, urgency and personal drive to succeed in a highly competitive market.
