Appearance Technician

About the role
The Appearance Technician is responsible for washing, detailing, and buffing/waxing trucks to maintain high cleanliness standards. This position offers hands‑on experience with Class 8 on‑highway vehicles and light tractor or trailer maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Assess equipment condition on arrival using a checklist and report any deficiencies.
- Physically scrub, rinse, buff, and wax the exterior of trucks.
- Clean interior components, including shampooing carpeted areas.
- Perform minor tractor and trailer maintenance as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with drivers.
Required skills
- Truck washing and detailing.
- Buffing and waxing of vehicle exteriors.
- Minor tractor and trailer maintenance.
