Applications & Software Officer – ERP & Manufacturing Systems

About the role

The Applications & Software Officer will manage, support and optimise enterprise applications that drive our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production, finance and supply‑chain teams to ensure the ERP ecosystem runs smoothly and adds value.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and administer ERP and operational software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Monitor application availability, performance and functionality to minimise disruptions.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, provide timely user support and escalations when needed.
• Collaborate with business units to align applications with inventory, procurement, finance and production processes.
• Identify and implement optimisation opportunities for workflows and system performance.
• Develop custom scripts and database queries (Python, SQL) to automate tasks and generate reports.
• Plan and execute upgrades, patches and change‑management activities, testing changes before deployment.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 3 years) in application management or ERP support.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
