Area Sales Manager – Central

About the role

The Area Sales Manager – Central will lead a team of sales agents across the central region, driving revenue growth and ensuring high‑quality sales to farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train sales agents, set targets and hold bi‑weekly performance reviews.
• Break down sales targets into county and agent goals, monitor daily performance via calls and WhatsApp, and run monthly field marketing activities.
• Ensure sales are made to customers with repayment capacity, monitor repayments and take remedial action when needed.
• Manage territory budget, reconcile sales expenses, oversee company assets such as vehicles, and distribute sales materials.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of rural sales experience in sectors like solar, agri‑inputs or regenerative technologies.
• Proven experience recruiting and coaching a team of 10+ direct reports.
• Experience selling to farmers with a strong network of leads.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data entry.
• Basic computing skills, especially MS Office.
