Branch Supervisor – Student Recruitment

About the role

A client, an education and training organisation operating in Nairobi and Eldoret, is looking for an experienced Branch Supervisor to lead its growing Eldoret branch. The role covers day-to-day operations, business development and student recruitment, and suits a hands-on leader who can work independently in a developing business. The advertised salary is KES 70,000 to 73,000.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the Eldoret branch, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Provide leadership, direction and performance management to branch staff.
• Oversee the student recruitment process, including follow-up, customer engagement and conversion.
• Drive business development and sales to generate revenue and expand the client and student base.
• Build partnerships with schools, institutions, community organisations and other stakeholders in the region.
• Identify new market opportunities and strategies to increase visibility, enrolment and revenue.
• Monitor performance against targets and report regularly to management.
• Resolve operational issues quickly and represent the organisation professionally in the Eldoret market.

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in operations management, business development, sales and/or student recruitment.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and overseeing daily operations.
• Experience building relationships with schools, institutions or community networks.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound decisions in a developing business.
• Strong commercial mindset and proven ability to achieve revenue targets.
• Good knowledge of the local market is an advantage; knowledge of the local dialect and community networks is an added advantage.
