Assistant Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

Manage the Club’s procurement and supply chain operations to ensure timely, transparent, competitive and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services, while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and compliance with policies and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation and supplier‑performance management.
• Administer contracts, purchase orders, LPOs and service‑level arrangements.
• Control inventory through stock planning, stock control and stores management.
• Ensure procurement controls, approval limits, segregation of duties and ethical procurement practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Professional certification (CPSP‑K or equivalent) and membership of a recognized procurement body.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP/procurement and inventory systems.
• Understanding of Kenyan procurement, tax, regulatory and statutory requirements.
