About the role

The Assistant Storekeeper will support the Abt Global Central Mechanism’s indoor residual spraying (IRS) campaign in Busia and Siaya counties. Working under the Warehouse Manager, the role ensures proper receipt, storage, labeling, and tracking of IRS commodities at temporary store sites.

Key responsibilities

Receive, verify, store, label and track IRS commodities delivered from the central warehouse.
Maintain up‑to‑date inventory management tools for each store site.
Monitor stock levels, place replenishment orders and coordinate with storekeepers and warehouse staff.
Conduct regular stock takes and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
Enforce safety procedures for handling hazardous materials and ensure compliance with safety culture.

Required profile

Experience in inventory control or storekeeping, preferably in health‑related logistics.
Ability to work onsite at multiple temporary store locations across Busia and Siaya counties.

Required skills

Basic inventory management and record‑keeping.
Understanding of safety protocols for hazardous material handling.
