Associate Account Manager

About the role

IFF is seeking an Associate Account Manager to drive sustainable business growth and strengthen strategic partnerships across West Africa. Based in Nairobi, you will work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to translate market opportunities into commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, profitability and volume targets for assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional objectives.
• Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.
• Lead commercial negotiations, support pricing and margin optimisation.
• Partner with Technical, R&D, Product Development and other teams to deliver winning solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• 5‑8 years of B2B sales and account management experience, preferably in Food Ingredients, Flavors, Fragrances or related industries.
• Proven success managing strategic accounts and complex sales cycles across multiple West African markets.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Salesforce (SFDC) for pipeline and account management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and financial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
