Automation Engineering Lead – AI & Automation

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional AI and automation engineering leader to build our automation capability, lead high‑impact solutions and scale farmer impact through hands‑on engineering, business partnership and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to define an AI, automation and engineering roadmap that accelerates strategic priorities and farmer impact.
• Design and deliver scalable AI, automation, integration and software solutions, overseeing architecture reviews, code quality and performance assessments.
• Establish integration standards across enterprise systems, AI platforms, middleware, APIs and third‑party technologies.
• Lead, coach and grow a high‑performing engineering team, setting governance, SOPs and succession pipelines.
• Champion organizational transformation through automation, measuring operational impact and positioning the enterprise as a technology leader in agriculture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant certifications.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade technology solutions while balancing deep engineering contribution with leadership.
• Strategic leader with strong commercial and operational acumen, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ownership‑driven mindset focused on measurable business outcomes for farmer impact.
