B1 Licensed Engineer (UKCAA) – Visa Sponsorship

About the role

Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd is seeking B1 Licensed Engineers who hold a UKCAA Part‑66 licence to join Ryanair’s line‑maintenance team across multiple UK bases. The role operates on 2‑day‑on/2‑day‑off or 4‑day‑night rotations and offers visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and defect rectification on Ryanair’s Boeing 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
• Execute Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery tasks to minimise downtime.
• Maintain a safe, compliant working environment in line with company policies and aviation regulations.
• Supervise, mentor and train Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with proven line‑maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
• Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
• Minimum five years of aircraft maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).

Required skills

• UK CAA Part‑66 B1 licence (essential).
• Boeing 737‑MAX type endorsement and recent experience on the type.
• Proficiency with AMOS maintenance software (desirable).
• Strong IT literacy and excellent verbal and written communication.
