About the role
We are looking for a Band 2 Cook to join the staff bank at our Telford Centre care home in Fort Augustus. As part of the culinary team you will help deliver nutritious, home‑cooked meals to our residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook daily meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times.
- Work collaboratively with care staff to coordinate meal service.
- Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean and organised.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
- Friendly, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on‑site at the Fort Augustus location.
