About the role
The Barista will join Asyana Gardens in Westlands, Nairobi, delivering high‑quality hot and cold beverages while ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time position focuses on consistent preparation, presentation, and service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, tea and other drinks following established recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation and portion sizes.
- Take and process guest orders accurately and efficiently.
- Keep the barista station and equipment clean and hygienic.
- Monitor ingredient levels, report stock needs and minimise waste.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
Required profile
- Certificate or relevant training in Barista skills or a related course.
- At least one year of continuous experience as a barista.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Attention to cleanliness, consistency and presentation.
