Barista (Nairobi)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Barista to join our Karak & Go outlet in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of coffee and specialty drinks while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drinks accurately following Karak & Go standard operating procedures.
• Maintain three squeeze bottles per flavor each morning and keep the bar station stocked.
• Clean and refill the matcha set, coffee grinder, and espresso machine daily.
• Stay at the bar station throughout the shift and report low or depleted supplies promptly.
• Interact with customers professionally when needed and uphold shop aesthetics and brand values.
• Assist wait staff with packing or cup checks without leaving the station.
• Sanitize equipment and clean the station before, during, and after the shift.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 24 months of experience in a similar hospitality or coffee‑service role.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and stay focused at the bar station.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
