Bid, Tender & Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Bid, Tender & Business Development Officer to join Digital Tailor Agency in Nairobi. You will drive the end‑to‑end tender process, develop new business opportunities and ensure smooth workflow coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and track tender opportunities from government, NGOs, donors and private sector.
• Review tender documents, prepare technical and financial proposals, and compile all required compliance documents.
• Maintain tender submission checklists, manage deadlines and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Develop and maintain a database of opportunities, templates, certifications and CVs.
• Research and qualify potential clients, partnerships and new markets beyond formal tenders.
• Support creation of company profiles, capability statements and presentation materials.
• Manage bid and business development tasks using Trello or similar project‑management tools.
• Track leads, opportunities and follow‑up activities, contributing ideas to drive revenue growth.

Required profile

• Entry‑level (minimum 12 months) experience in tender management, procurement or business development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written communication for proposal preparation.
• Ability to collaborate with technical, finance and management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Trello or comparable project‑management software.
