Bilingual Paralegal – Wage & Hour Class Action

About the role

We are looking for an experienced bilingual Paralegal to support a high‑volume Employment Litigation practice focused on Wage & Hour class actions. The role is fully onsite in Kenya or the Philippines and requires working night shifts from 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Friday. You will provide essential litigation support to attorneys handling complex employment law matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, letters, and discovery documents.
• Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar platforms.
• Maintain and organize case files in case‑management and document‑management systems.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Manage case calendars, legal deadlines, and litigation timelines.
• Coordinate communication with clients regarding case matters.
• Track and manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
• Support attorneys with administrative and litigation‑related tasks, ensuring timely filing of documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1) with an accent‑free speaking style.
• Experience managing court calendars, hearings, deadlines, and litigation workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LexisNexis or Westlaw for legal research.
• Strong command of Microsoft 365.
• Experience using Litify or comparable legal case‑management systems.
