Branch Head – Freight Forwarding (Kenya)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Branch Head to lead our freight forwarding operations in Kenya. The successful candidate will develop the branch, drive business growth, and act as the company’s representative in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, manage, and expand the Kenya branch operations.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market presence.
• Represent the company with clients, forwarders, agents, and industry stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Kenyan logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards.
• Drive profitability and operational excellence through effective leadership.
• Report regularly to the Head Office on performance and market trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics with leadership exposure.
• Strong network and established contacts within the Kenyan freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Proven track record in business development and branch growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and represent the company in Kenya.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation, and compliance.
