Branch Manager – Healthcare Operations

About the role

Jacaranda Maternity is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Westlands facility in Nairobi. The role combines operational oversight, clinical leadership, and data‑driven improvement to ensure high‑quality patient care and efficient branch performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Jacaranda’s code of conduct, policies, and performance standards across all staff.
• Maintain 24‑hour accountability for patient care decisions, branch operations, and personnel management.
• Lead execution of strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and guide both clinical and operations teams.
• Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Lead to analyse data, identify improvement areas, and implement change plans.
• Project patient volume, conduct cost analyses, monitor budget variances, and work with finance to develop annual budgets.
• Track team KPIs, uphold quality standards, and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in any medical field from a recognised university; Business or Health Systems Management degree is a plus.
• Active licence from the relevant medical authority.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed medical professional in a leadership role within a busy health facility.
• Previous experience as a Hospital Administrator or Branch Manager is advantageous.
