Branch Manager – Mombasa

About the role

Roy Transmotors Limited is seeking a highly organized Branch Manager to lead operations at its Mombasa branch. The role focuses on overseeing transport activities, fleet performance, and customer service while ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all branch operations and ensure efficient execution of transport activities in the Mombasa region.
• Coordinate loading and off‑loading of vehicles to optimise turnaround time.
• Ensure truck movements follow approved schedules, journey plans, and customer requirements.
• Oversee daily deployment, utilisation and performance of drivers and fleet.
• Maintain compliance with cargo procedures, customs regulations and licences (C40, C28, RTGL, transit guarantees).
• Liaise with clearing agents, customs officials and regional authorities for smooth cargo movement.
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing EHSQ policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor fleet maintenance, fuel usage, spares and overall asset condition.
• Supervise staff performance and coordinate client service delivery.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly operational reports to Head Office.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Transport Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in transport and logistics operations.
• At least 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
