Branch Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded, hands‑on Branch Manager to own all aspects of branch sales, people, stock, customer experience and daily operations. The role is results‑driven, requiring an experienced retail professional to lead a sizable team, analyse performance and take decisive action to improve results.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for branch sales performance, revenue growth and achievement of targets and KPIs.
• Drive customer traffic, conversion and average sales value, and implement initiatives to increase repeat visits.
• Lead, coach and motivate the branch team, manage shift schedules and monitor attendance and performance.
• Oversee stock receipt, inventory accuracy, replenishment and merchandising while minimizing losses.
• Maintain strict cash, M‑Pay and financial controls, ensuring daily reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising and customer service, and resolve complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales & Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years proven experience in retail management, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
• Minimum 2 years in a formal management or supervisory role with direct responsibility for staff and sales.
• Experience managing a team of 15+ employees, stock/inventory management and cash controls.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with reporting systems; good numerical and analytical skills.
