Branch Manager – Utawala

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Utawala branch, overseeing resources, staff and sales performance. You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, delivering high‑quality customer service and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio while implementing growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the company’s products and services, consistently meeting or exceeding individual and branch sales targets.
• Develop and execute branch‑level sales strategies to acquire new business and increase market share.
• Lead and monitor overall branch performance in sales, collections, Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and operational efficiency.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial reports to ensure profitability.
• Recruit, train and coach a high‑performing sales and collections team, providing ongoing performance feedback.
• Ensure excellent customer experience, oversee credit and loan approval processes and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while driving continuous operational improvement.
• Participate in strategic discussions with senior management and handle special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, finance or related sales roles.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and collection targets.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse performance data and implement corrective actions.
• Good understanding of credit, loan approval processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent customer service orientation and relationship‑building skills.
