Building Manager – Property Portfolio Management

About the role

The Building Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and financial administration of Gada Investments’ property portfolio. Acting as the caretaker of each asset, the manager ensures facilities run safely, tenants receive excellent service and rent is collected on time.

Key responsibilities

• Facilities Management – monitor water, electrical, sanitation, pumps, generators and common areas, conduct regular inspections and ensure health‑and‑safety standards.
• Tenant Management – serve as primary contact, handle enquiries and complaints, manage onboarding, lease renewals and maintain positive relationships.
• Rent Collection & Arrears Management – track rental payments, issue reminders, follow up overdue accounts, develop recovery plans and produce monthly arrears reports.
• Building Maintenance Management – receive and prioritize maintenance requests, coordinate contractors, obtain quotations, monitor work quality and stay within budget.
• Contractor & Vendor Management – source reliable service providers, monitor performance, verify completion before payment and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Administration & Reporting – maintain tenant records, lease documentation, rent collection data and provide regular management updates.
