Business Development Intern - Health Information Technology

About the role

Hanmak Technologies Limited is looking for motivated Business Development Interns to gain real experience in marketing and selling healthcare information technology solutions. The internship is a 3 to 6 month immersive programme based at the company's headquarters in Mlolongo, Mombasa Road, working closely with the marketing team to introduce its SaaS Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) to healthcare providers and support new business opportunities. It is not a sit-and-observe internship.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the marketing team to introduce healthcare technology solutions to hospitals and medical facilities
• Support outreach, product discussions and sales initiatives
• Engage with healthcare professionals, present solutions and handle questions from potential clients
• Meet clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the programme

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree
• Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or another course relevant to the projects
• Genuine interest in marketing and promoting health information technology solutions
