Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for ORCHID HR’s IT and telecom solutions across assigned territories. You will lead account planning, client engagement and coordinate cross‑functional teams to secure new business and expand existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory/account plans to systematically grow revenue.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to refine commercial strategy.
• Set and monitor personal and team sales pipelines against monthly and quarterly targets.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across the full solutions portfolio (security, queue management, visitor management).
• Lead responses to tenders and RFPs, coordinating technical and finance inputs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for key accounts, conducting regular reviews and managing escalations.
• Build relationships with senior decision‑makers, consultants and procurement teams.
• Coordinate with presales to ensure accurate, competitive proposals and smooth handover to delivery teams.
• Prepare and present sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records and represent the company in industry events.

Required profile

• Senior level with at least 5 years of relevant business development or sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and client needs.
