Business Manager – Kenya Branch (GCF)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Business Manager to lead the setup and operations of our new Kenya branch. The role will establish market presence, drive revenue growth and ensure successful product launches across East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end branch setup, including office infrastructure, staffing, compliance, P&L, budgets and financial forecasting.
• Design and implement a sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets; recruit, train and manage a high‑performing sales team; expand distribution across mass market, modern trade and e‑commerce channels.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing plans, adapt regional campaigns for Kenya, manage trade marketing, in‑store promotions and POS deployment, and conduct market research.
• Lead go‑to‑market execution for product launches, coordinate cross‑functional teams and provide market feedback on performance and innovation opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts; represent the company at industry events and liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• Senior‑level experience (minimum 7 years) in sales strategy, marketing execution and FMCG go‑to‑market planning.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets and financial forecasting.
• Strong track record of building and leading high‑performing sales teams.
• Experience working with distribution networks, modern trade and e‑commerce channels.
