Business Performance & Analytics Manager

About the role

The Business Performance & Analytics Manager will support Absa Bank Kenya by providing specialist data analysis, financial modelling and performance reporting to drive informed decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, interpret and comment on the bank’s financial performance for senior stakeholders including Branch leadership, Country Management Committee and the Board.
• Supervise the aggregation of financial forecasts and act as liaison for one or more business areas.
• Review project business cases, conduct "what‑if" analyses and challenge proposals to ensure value for money.
• Prepare monthly financial and non‑financial performance reports, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis, management information and answer technical queries on financial production.
• Monitor market and competitor information to support strategic development.

Required profile

• Strong organisational, communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience in financial performance management within a banking or financial services environment.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and present complex data clearly.
