Canter Truck Driver – Full‑time in Kiambu

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Canter Truck Driver to join our distribution team in Kiambu. The role involves operating a 6‑wheel Canter truck to deliver goods safely and on schedule, supporting our FMCG supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the assigned 6‑wheel Canter truck for daily distribution routes across Kiambu and surrounding areas.
• Verify loaded goods against delivery notes, load and unload cargo, and ensure proper securing of loads.
• Plan optimal routes, monitor fuel consumption, and complete trip logs and delivery documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, brakes, tires, lights, fuel) and report any defects.
• Handle minor mechanical issues and coordinate major repairs with management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to traffic laws, company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid Class BCE (or equivalent) driving licence.
• Minimum three years’ experience driving Canter trucks, preferably 6‑wheel models.
• Physical fitness to manage loading and unloading tasks.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes in Kiambu.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and integrity.
