About the role
The Cardiology Clinical Officer assesses and manages patients with cardiovascular conditions. The role involves conducting clinical examinations, supporting cardiology investigations and procedures, monitoring patients, maintaining clinical records, providing patient education, and collaborating with the medical team to deliver quality cardiac care.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Conduct clinical examinations and support cardiology investigations and procedures.
- Monitor patients and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Provide patient education on cardiac health.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure high‑quality cardiac care.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery (or related).
- Higher National Diploma in Cardiology or related field.
- Registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya and hold a valid practising licence.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in a hospital environment.
