Caregiver Manager – Home Care Team Lead

About the role

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Caregiver Manager to lead and develop a team of in‑home caregivers at our Ontario branch. You will ensure high‑quality, compassionate care while supporting caregivers in their professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align client needs with caregiver talent.
• Prepare new caregivers for their first day and coordinate orientation requirements.
• Facilitate weekly orientation sessions and introduce caregivers to clients on initial shifts.
• Deliver ongoing training, including skills labs and soft‑skill development.
• Work with Compliance to maintain regulatory standards and address caregiver concerns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for caregiver inquiries and performance feedback.
• Assist HR with progressive discipline and maintain accurate caregiver records.
• Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior‑care management.
• Strong time‑management, decision‑making, leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to improving quality of life for both caregivers and clients.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Two to three professional references.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Point of Care software.
