Chef – Full-time Hospitality Position

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef to join our hospitality team in Naivasha. The role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting daily menu execution in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and timely delivery of meals.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and manage inventory using FIFO principles.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Control food waste and support cost‑control measures.
• Collaborate with service staff and guide junior kitchen personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Proven experience as a chef in a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
